Today the next batch of samples arrived! Opening a giant box of our products was really gratifying especially since the quality of the images was significantly improved over the last batch. My kids liked them too and we had some fun making coffees and taking pictures with them. My 3 year old’s favorite one is the rainbow that says “Time to Fuck This Day Up!” which I found hilarious. I did learn that it’s better to use straight up black text over shades of grey because it’s more visually appealing on the physical mug to have the writing be more apparent, which may seem obvious but wasn’t to me until I got them. Now I have a bunch of mugs with which to make content and hopefully use to generate some traffic to our site! Right now, our Instagram page is very… shall we say… humbling. 3 followers. And our most viewed post has 5 views. Eeek. Well, as they say, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. (Add that to the inspirational mug ideas list!) Time to get goin.
